Health Care Agency Of The United States Public Health...

On a national level, the official health care agency in the US, is the Department of Health and Human Services. The public health component of the department is the United States Public Health Service (PHS). There are two Staff Offices within the PHS that report directly to the Secretary of Health- Office of the Assistant of the Secretary of Preparedness and Response (ASPR) and the Office of Global Affairs. The PHS, also consists of eight agencies: Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Indian Health Service (HIS), National Institute of Health (NIH), Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). The CDC investigates causes of diseases and establishes standards and policies for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of health related issues. The CDC consists of multiple component agencies. The CDC is mostly responsible for: investigating factors that contribute to the communicable diseases, monitoring of the occurrence of the communicable diseases, developing standards of practice and policies on disease control. I also use information technology, in various ways such as in my social life style. As well as my educational life and my professional life, for multiple reasons.
